Some friendly matches and training sessions in March-June.

12 December 2023 – Our very own Deborah Loze represented Nyon Netball Club on Nyon TV!

2 December – We won against Lausanne and now we are top of the league!

18th November 2023 – the second league match for Nyon Red Romans and a second win! 45-27 against Meinier.

8th November 2023 – Nyon Blue Blazes second ever match!

8th November 2023 – we traveled to Lausanne for a friendly match.

Oct 14, 2023 – This year Nyon Netball Club has submitted 2 teams in the Swiss Netball League. Both teams had a great first match of the season today. With Nyon Red Romans wining their match 44-33 against LausAnges and Nyon Blue Blazes lost 28-21 against Lancy Thunder.

Sept 25, 2023 – We had our first mixed netball social session. It was really fun and a great success. Every last Monday of every month all genders and abilities are welcome to come and join us for a free session to try netball.

The netball season of 2022-23 was a resounding success for our team, marked by the arrival of new players, the guidance of a qualified coach (Marney), and unforgettable off-court adventures. With a proud league standing at 5th place out of 7 teams, we celebrate our achievements and look forward to an even brighter future. We are committed to offering exciting new opportunities for our members, ranging from an additional training night, mixed netball and to more fun social events. By continuously enhancing the netball experience, we aim to foster an even stronger team environment and provide our members with memorable moments on and off the court.

10th June 2023 – We played GGNA, we lost 23-36, but had so much fun!

6th May 2023 – We got to play against our neighbours and friends at Aubonne Netball Club. We won 38-23!

26 March 2023 – We had so much fun at the Peppermill tournament. We played 4 short games (2 X 10 minute halves) and we showed significant improvements from last year.

6th Feb 2023, Our friends at the Kingfishers invited us for a friendly game.

We had a league game on Saturday 14th January against Lausanne. We played in Geneva. Lausanne won and the score was 35-26, it was a great game!

Saturday 3 December – We played the wonderful new Lausanges netball team. It was an excellent game and we won 38-29.

Wednesday 16th November – we were invited to Lausanne again for a second round of friendly matches against Lausanne and Equipe D’Etoy. Another great experience.

Wednesday 9th November – We were invited for some friendly match play in a round robin format at the International School of Lausanne. We played several small games of 7 minute halves against Lausanne and Equipe d’Etoy. Thank you to our hosts in Lausanne.

Monday 7th November – We were invited to the International School of Geneva, La Châtaigneraie campus for some friendly match play against the Kingfishers. It was an excellent atmosphere, it was so much fun for both our experienced and brand new players! Amazing efforts from both teams. Thank you Kingfishers!

Saturday 29th October – Swiss Netball Senior Match Play at the Centre Sportif du Bois-des-Frerès. This was a great morning 10-13h for Swiss Netball members to turn up and have some fun and friendly match play. We mixed teams, tried out some different positions and learned a lot. We highly recommend these events for players of all abilities to come and have some friendly match experience and meet people.

Saturday 15th October 2022 – We had our first league game of the season in Lausanne. We had a lot of fun playing against Meinier. It was our first game with our new coach Marney and it made such a great difference to our match play. We lost this game 50-26 but were proud and happy with our efforts and congratulate Meinier for the win. Thanks to our team scorer and timekeeper for travelling to Lausanne with us. We currently have 13 members of our club who have registered to play in the Swiss League matches.
